MEET OSCAR IN RHODE ISLAND
OSCAR is a sweet and playful pup. Born Dec. 29, 2017, he is 1 plus years old and 25 pounds of PERFECT. He is a pekingese/pug/shihtzu mix. His previous owner had no time for him and just had him in a crate all day. At his foster home he is free to run and play outside and you can see how happy a boy he now is. He is just the perfect dog. He loves his toys, water, and staying close to his human. I think he might make a good agility dog....he is quite the jumper and walks around on his hind legs...a real comical dog!
We are looking to find him a home where he is not alone all day. HE IS A REAL CHARMER and can worm anything from you with his adorable facial expressions. There hasn't been a dog yet that he hasn't liked and as far as people, HE IS A LOVER AND A BIG KISSER !! He is just the perfect dog.
Oscar's ideal home will have , children to play with and maybe a family that perhaps works from home or won't leave him alone too long............let's see what we can find him.......tell us about your home. If you come close to this profile, let me know ASAP. It's OK if you don't match all the ideals......

We do not transport dogs out of the area. We ask that you live within 50 miles of the dog's location. All dogs are adopted through contract.
WE DO REQUIRE A PHYSICAL FENCE for most dogs as they have gotten used to be outside. We do accept invisible fencing for some dogs.

ADOPTION FEE: 550.
This supports all rescue dogs for vetting, foods and whatever they need. We are all volunteers.
If you can provide a FABULOUS home please file our free application (see link above) and tell us why we should let you adopt our wonderful rescue.
Once we have reviewed your application and think it is a match we will notify you. Please understand that as these dogs are fostered we do get to know them and have a good idea of their forever home. We do NOT save applications, but you may put multiple names on one application. We do not choose by a first come first serve basis. So if the dog is still up on the site, consider the dog AVAILABLE. We do take down quickly when adopted. If you don't see any information you need to know, we probably don't have an answer....like cats...idk...
