This litter of little ones came from the same location as Timber. They are cute and sweet, if they have the personality of Timber they will be GREAT!! Their hold is up on 6/19/19 and she can be killed by shelter staff after that date.

The shelter has started the heartworm positive dogs on ivermectin to help start them on the slow kill method of heartworm treatment. Ivermectin alone does not cure heartworm and does not kill the adult heartworm. Adult heartworm will continue to damage a dog’s organs. Thorough heartworm treatment to cure a dog of the disease consists of diagnostics and a two prong approach to treatment for both the adult or immature heartworm. Veterinary care and supervision is key.
