Meet Petey! An adorable, 4 year old male Jack Russell Terrier / Chi X.
Petey's personality matches his adorable exterior. He is outgoing, curious and a ball of energy! While going on adventures is his first love, a strong second is his toys and having cuddles with his human - he loves attention. He prefers women over men -- his past life was not so kind and therefore he would do best in a female home.
Petey also loves other dogs and would do best with another small/medium respectful dog that not only needed a playmate but that would help build Petey's confidence. Petey enjoys playing in the yard, is smart, potty trained and crated trained. He loves to sleep in the big bed where bonding and having a sense of security continues to build a relationship and the importance of bonding.
About Petey:
a) He is shy/reserved meeting new people - he will need time to adjust to all the new changes and prefers to take things at his pace. Guidance, patience, time and understanding will build trust, confidence and security.
b) He is treat motivated and loves to learn new things.
c) He loves to be loved but when he is ready so brush up on same canine body language together!
