Mirror, mirror on the wall, who is the fairest of them all?
Avila is an approximately 3 to 4 year old female German Shepherd mix. She is good with dogs her size and older children. Avila believes in hard work and puts the HERD in Shepherd. She takes the job seriously; however, she minds very well and has an excellent recall. While she can come across as a bit shy, she's very loving once she's been introduced. This queen understands proper protocol after all! Avila has such a gorgeous sable coat that's darker on her underbelly. Can we talk about her gorgeous brown eyes that shine with gold undertones when the light hits them just right? This girl could be the sunshine of your life! Brighten up your day, and hers, and ask for more information about this cutie!

PLEASE READ. Regarding the application processing fee: IDGSR requires that all applicants submit a $20 non-refundable application processing fee. Please note that submitting an application and fee does not guarantee that you will be approved or guarantee the adoption of any specific dog, since that dog may have other applications being considered.
Each dog's adoption fee varies depending on the age of the dog.
$300 for any dog 1 year and younger (PUPPY)
$250 for any dog 1-6 years (YOUNG & ADULT)
$200 for any dog 7 years (ADULT SENIOR)
All our adoptable dogs are up to date on vaccinations, heartworm testing, monthly preventative, and have been spayed or neutered.
Everyone must submit an application before an appointment is made to meet the dogs. Dogs are introduced to prospective adopters BY APPOINTMENT ONLY.
All dogs are fostered in TN unless stated otherwise.
