My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Bailey - Whippet/Lab Mix - Female - 5 Years - www.twyla.org

If you'd like to know more about this dog please visit our website at www.Twyla.org

Meet Bailey: this gorgeous brindle Whippet/Lab mix was returned to us after a failed adoption and is now looking for a new family. Bailey is sweet and gentle and a little nervous meeting new people and new dogs, but with a little time, patience and proper guidance has had no issues meeting new fosters and their dogs and family members. Bailey likes playing with other dogs, she is quite fast! She also loves to snuggle and makes an excellent couch buddy, once allowed on the sofa. Bailey is a little nervous in a crate at first, but as with all new things, patience, time and some gentle corrections and she can be crated, she is also house trained and walks well on leash, with room for improvement. Bailey is a little insecure and tends to resource guard, but corrects very well and is a fast learner and likes guidance.

Bailey is looking for a moderately experienced home that can provide her guidance and training, a balanced dog to show her how to "dog" would be great. Bailey is fine around older kids, and ignores cats.

***Please note: All dogs are fostered in private homes of volunteers, so to meet a dog please fill out an Adoption Application on our website (http://www.twyla.org/adopt/our-adoption-process) so we may setup a private meetup with the dog or coordinate for an Introduction at the next general Adoption Meet and Greet (as listed on our website: (http://www.twyla.org/upcoming-events), as not all dogs attend all Meet and Greets***
