Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Welcome Sammy “Sam”. He is a 1-year-old low rider. He is a Dachshund mixed with some small Terrier. He weighs about 18 pounds and is full grown. He is energetic and ready to play, good in a crate and he likes car rides. He is outgoing and will make some lucky family a good companion. He loves other dogs and is submissive to the bigger dogs at the rescue. He surrendered to the local pound because they said they didn’t have time for him and he was too energetic. We see a wonderful dog here looking for a fun family. He would make a great walking partner and his best place would be a home with a fenced yard so he can play and explore. He settles down and is a great companion but as any young dog will need daily exercise. He is sturdy enough to be able to keep p with walks or a person who jogs. He is currently in Texas and can be adopted locally or transported to the Washington, Oregon, the East Coast, Minnesota and Illinois. His adoption fee is 200 and transport is 185.
