My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

We rescued this big guy all the way from the Riverside Shelter!! Its been a few months since coming into our care and getting him back to good health has been a slow but steady process. He came to us with an awful, non-contagious skin infection that was due solely to him not being taken care of properly.

We have had the following procedures done:
Neuter
Ear Flush
Skin Check
Weird wart removal
Nail Clip
Shots
Microchip

Its a big day for this handsome guy now weighing 113 lbs....he was only 89 lbs when we got him.

He is open for a foster to adopt situation as we would like to see his skin a tad bit better but we are officially accepting local applications for him. Sarge is dog friendly (larger dogs only due to his size) and cat friendly and fantastic with children. He would greatly benefit from some basic training as he can come off as a little rude when meeting other dogs. He means no harm, just has never been taught the basics. We have seen a vast improvement since having him here and we know he will continue to get better. He is currently being fostered in a home with children and cats and could not be better behaved.
