My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Peepers is a 12 week old purebred Double Dapple Piebald Mini Dachshund. She was born with a condition called micro-opthalmia (tiny eyes). Peepers can see but her peripheral vision is not very good.
She is a sweet, feisty active puppy that eats well and loves to play with toys. She loves other dogs but may be too active and playful for an older , quiet dog. She has gotten 2 vaccines so far and has been wormed and started on Heartgard.
She is pee pad trained and is starting house training (going outdoors)..
She weighs 4.5 pounds and is expected to get up to 10-12 pounds as an adult.
We are looking for a loving family or individual without children under the age of 10 to give Peepers a forever home.
Her adoption fee is $500. This includes her spay and the rest of her vaccines so adopter must bring her back to the Birmingham Veterinary Clinic on Woodward in Birmingham to have these procedures done.
A veterinary reference and secure fenced yard are an absolute must to adopt this active puppy-No exceptions. Absolutely no invisible fences.
