If it’s true what they say about orange tabby males (they’re legendary!), then Chickpea is the perfect example. He purrs all the time and is very affectionate, attentive and playful. He will watch you closely, and will jump on a shoulder or “help” clean the litter box. This orange boy will have you swooning. He is good with cats, dogs and he is litter box trained.

To adopt you must first complete an adoption application and either come to an adoption event or arrange to meet the cat in its foster home. We do not do same day adoptions so, generally, we can only adopt within the Washington, D.C. metropolitan area
