Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Sophie is a small, chihuahua/shih tzu mix (10.7 lbs). My family acquired Sophie six years ago from an animal shelter in Kankakee, IL. Recently in September 2018, I moved out of the house to start my teaching career and took Sophie with me for good company (my first time living alone). Sophie is a rescued dog, so she ages anywhere from six to eight years old.
I am looking to rehome Sophie because I am simply too busy to take care of her properly. I teach high school music full time, and I have a long commute. Sophie is a small dog, so she needs bathroom attention about every four hours. She needs a family, couple, or person who can be home more often that I can. I love Sophie, and that is why I need to let go and pass her along to (an) owner(s) who can commit to taking care of her.
Adjectives to describe Sophie: content, relaxed, timid, loyal, loving, playful, independent (when at home), intelligent.
