My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Mitzi! Believe it or not, this cute little girl was a mom! That's how we found her, with her tiny kittens, roughing it in a basement in north Manhattan. We were so happy that the people caring for Mitzi let us take mom and babies so we could get them a better life. And wouldn't you know, all the babies have great homes--now it's mama's turn!

Mitzi is cautious with people at first. It was probably a little "Kitty Survivor" in the basement and she had to learn the survival skills. She's got those big eyes--all the better for keeping an eye on things, haha! But once she gets to know you, she's putty! Mitzi will warm up with pets while she's eating and then she'll be your tried-and-true companion!

Mitzi is currently in a foster home with a cat and a dog. Believe it or not (Mitzi is full of surprises!), she is pretty cool with the big pup. The cat she's not so sure about, but she's been in other foster homes with cats and was ok, so we think she could be fine with a feline roommate as long as the cat was pretty relaxed and friendly. Please come meet Mitzi in her foster home on the Upper East Side (Manhattan) to see if she could be your purfect companion!
