Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Update from Foster:
She gets along with my cat, although they aren't besties, she doesn't react to her at all anymore, Likes all the dogs and while we don't have kids, she been so gentle with me, even when I was prying her mouth open and shoving pills down her throat (until she trusted me, then she took them pretty easy). I think she will actually do best with another dog in her house, she really leans on my pack leader, she's very submissive.
I think a warning that she may be nervous in new situations and need careful introductions would be sufficient and accurate.
I think she'll roll with whatever situation she is in. Our house is calm human wise, but pretty crazy animal wise.
Let me introduce Izzie and her baby. They have a sad story and we are gonna need some help finding Izzie the perfect forever home. Izzie was a stray in Clay County, she ended up having babies while she was out and all died but one due to parasite overload. Izzie and her remaining pup were taken in by a very kind animal lover and they gave her a safe place to raise her remaining pup. Now they are with us looking for a safe forever home. Izzie is a small border collie mix, 30 lbs, about 2 years old. She has been on her own for quite a while and will need a home that understands that she is not always comfortable or trusting of new situations, people, or other animals. She would probably do best in a home that has experience with her breed and that is willing to give her time and love to grow into the beautiful pet we know she can be. Please share Izzie's story with anyone you think might be able to give her the home she needs. thank you
Izzie's adoption fee is $200 and she will be completely vetted prior to adoption. Application for adoption can be filled out on our website:
