Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Rescue is all about saving a dog and finding her a furever home where she can live happily ever after, even if she has a health issue. Laney is an affectionate, black and tan female with natural ears, who will be turning 4 years old this December. She was surrendered by her owners when a new infant arrived who turned out to be allergic to her. Laney has diabetes insipidus and is on medication which controls her previous desire to drink excessive amounts of water. She will need to stay on the medication for her entire life, but it is not extremely expensive.
Laney is somewhat timid and shy around new people so we would prefer a quiet home for her. She is OK with other dogs, but is not interested in playing with them, so another couch potato might do well with her. Ideally, she would surely love 100% attention if she were an only dog. Laney is not overly active, but she does enjoy playing ball, going for walks, and staying beside her mom and/or dad.
