Hello there....

My name is Katniss and my brothers and I came out of the Stanislaus shelter in Modesto. We were strays and we don’t even know what happened to our mother. We were small, about 3.5lbs and 6 weeks or so. We would have liked to have more time with mom’s milk, but we’ll eat kibble!!! We are now about 8 weeks old and weigh between 6-7lbs each. We are sassy, feisty and like to play with the other dogs that here. Some of them don’t like it and tell us so and we respect that. We are learning how to potty outside and on pads, but we still make a lot of mistakes. We are also learning what to bite and not to bite and our foster mom makes us wait and sit before she’ll feed us. It’s cool, we like to learn.
