My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Welcome Macie. She is 10-month-old wire-haired Rat Terrier. She looks to be a high mix or pure-bred young girl. She was found on the euthanasia list in the local pound with her smooth-coated sister. One of our local friends spotted her and asked that we take in the two girls. This girl is a little shy, sweet, loveable, likes to be held and very very cute. She bonds deeply once she warms up. She would be best in a home with another dog to show her the ropes. She is good in a crate, good with other dogs, nice in a car and will be learning to go potty on a potty pad in her foster home. She is in the foster home with other dogs and cats. She weighs about 12 pounds and we think she is full grown or close to it. People who love the Rat Terrier will love this girl. She is currently in Texas at the CCPAL Rescue looking for her forever home. She can be adopted locally in Texas or transported to the East Coast, Washington, Minnesota, Vermont, Illinois and Wisconsin. Her adoption fee is 200 and transport is 185.
