Well, hello there! My name's Nina and I'm sure you noticed right away that I'm a supermodel and Olympic-level athlete. I am stunningly beautiful, athletic, and elegant and I catch everyone's attention everywhere I go. I am pretty much perfect because I love adventures followed by a good TV binge on the couch. I have never met a stranger and love all humans and dogs, especially my three foster siblings (even though they're all super old, I play gently with them so they can keep fit without getting hurt). I share my toys and food with my foster siblings too--I'm not sure these senior citizens can fend for themselves any more! I love to meet my adoring public, and whether it’s in my foster home or on the street, I always greet everyone with a tail wag and smile. Besides my killer personality, I'm absolutely, completely, thoroughly housetrained, so I don't need to sleep in my kennel at night. I wish my foster family didn't have to work during the day because I don't love being left behind, but I make up for it by climbing on their laps so we can cuddle when they get home again. All of our pets start their journey in Memphis Tennessee where they remain in loving foster families until they are adopted.

In order to qualify for ALIVE’s program all of the following steps must be met: • You must be at least 24 years of age and be able to provide ALIVE with proof of age. • Any current pets must be up to date on vaccinations, and be spayed/neutered. Exceptions to this will only be considered if proof of a medical explanation is provided. • If you currently rent, you must provide a landlord’s phone number and a copy of your executed lease. • All members of the family living in the home where the animal will be placed must be interviewed. • Allow an ALIVE Rescue Memphis representative into your home for a visit to insure that your home is safe for the potential new dog or cat. • Be able and willing to spend the time and money necessary to provide training, medical treatment and proper care for a pet.

Currently, the requested donation to adopt a dog from ALIVE Rescue Memphis in the Memphis area over 4 months of age is $275.00, a dog under 4 months of age is $300.00 and a cat is $150.00.

Currently, the requested donation to adopt a dog from ALIVE Rescue Memphis to the Nashville area is $325.00. The $325.00 adoption fee includes transport to the Nashville area.

Currently, the requested donation to adopt a dog from ALIVE Rescue Memphis to the Chicago area is $475.00. The $475.00 adoption fee includes transport to the Chicago area.

Due to the extremely high volume of inquiries we receive, we ask that you submit an application immediately to start the adoption process. We try very hard to include all pertinent information in our bios. We are excited to help you find your new family member. However, ALIVE Rescue Memphis is operated 100% by volunteers. We want to spend our time saving dogs and assisting those adopters who have taken the time to complete an application. Thank you for understanding.
