My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

PLEASE READ ALL OF COURAGE’S STORY!!

Courage is a happy go lucky girl who came to us as a hospice foster for a tumor on her adrenal gland. Her vet estimated at that time she may only have two to four weeks to live. We took on her after being found by local police as a stray & surrendered to a partner rescue who had her in a boarding facility. We felt she should have more in her final days than she could get in a boarding facility.

When she arrive at her foster home we surprised by her happy & energetic personality for a dog estimated to have a month left to live. That was over 3 months ago & although Courage still has a tumor you would never it if you weren’t told so! She is a chubby, happy, & sweet girl who is so full of life! We believe she deserves a true forever home where she can get all of the love & attention she deserves.

Courage is great with other dogs outside & can be in the home under the right circumstances. She has mild resource guarding-mostly over beds, couches, ect. The only time we have had an issue with her around other dogs is while she was on the bed. In the right home we believe she can get along with other dogs her size or larger. No small dogs or cat. Courage loves people of all types & is excellent with children. She is fully vetted.

Currently we are working with her original rescue in hopes to get her surgery to remove the tumor now that we know she is healed enough to handle it. We would very much like to place her in a ‘forever foster’ so she can have a home of her own. If your interested in giving this gorgeous girl with a huge smile & even bigger heart a home to call her own apply on our website FallinRuv.org
