My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Brandy is a 7-year-old spayed female black lab. Brandy weighs 47 pounds and is up to date on shots. This dog is approved for homes with children ages 10 and up.

DESCRIPTION:

UPDATE: July 26, 2019: Brandy is as sweet and easy going as they get. She is content simply hanging out with her foster family (both dogs and cats!). Just looking her way makes her tail wag. She loves leisurely strolls, where she is perfect on a leash, with no pulling. She enjoys being brushed, takes treats gently, sits patiently while her meals are prepared, rarely barks, and is crate-trained but doesn't need one. Basically perfect! Have you noticed her beautiful, unique coat and soulful eyes?

Brandy was a stray and had a mass about the size of small cantaloupe between her legs that broke open during the night. Vet operated and successfully removed the mass. Knows basic commands sit, lay down, and come. Good on lead, and house and crate trained but does not need a crate.

UPDATE: July 12, 2019: Brandy is a sweet, laid back girl. She loves leisurely strolls and does a happy dance when the leash comes out. She is crate-trained, but doesn't need one. She has free rein of the house when her fosters are at work and hasn't touched a thing. Brandy does not ask for much and is happy to just be around her people and the animals in her foster home. She is patiently waiting for a furever family to love.

UPDATE: Brandy is an easy going dog who likes to hang out with you no matter what you are doing. She has been with her foster who thinks she is one of the easiest dogs that they have fostered. She is easy going and likes to meet new people. Brandy is good with other dogs, living with one at her fosters, and was with 3 while without any problems except not enough hands to pet everyone at once. She is living with two cats at her fosters. She likes to go for walks, rides and hang out with you. She is house and crate trained but doesn't need a crate. She would love a home with a yard to stretch her legs and explore.
