Hi everyone, I’m Stella! I’m 5 or 6 years old, weigh about 30#, am spayed, have all my shots and just had my teeth cleaned!
I was ‘advertised’ as a miniature schnauzer, but my foster mom and my vet, Dr. Molly, think I’m more like a smaller sized standard. I’m really tall (bigger than all the boys here, and they are tall!), and my foster mom tells me I have a big ole head and gigantic feet. So I’m a really tall girl, not one of those dainty flower types :).
I started my life with a breeder, was adopted by an older gentleman who unfortunately developed some health problems, so I ended up in rescue! Which is alright with me, I’m a very happy and bouncy girl who loves kisses and hugs and cuddles. I’m a little anxious now and then, and a little cautious with men. I was kind of quiet when I arrived, but as I’m getting more comfortable in my foster home, I’m getting pretty rambunctious, so I’d really need a fenced in yard.
I’m crate trained, but don’t like it very much, I’m really good about not getting into stuff. I love to just follow you around the house and most especially, sleep on the bed! I’m ok on a leash, and pretty good about coming when I’m called too. I get along fine with the boys here, I really just kind of ignore them since I’m much more interested in getting all the attention.
I don’t know that I’d be great with little kids, they move too fast and might scare me, also, I might knock them over. Older kids would probably be ok; I think I’d really like to play with them. I’m not sure what else to tell you about me, my foster mom tells me I am the sweetest girl on the planet though, so I think I’m pretty special.
