Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Hi there! I am so happy you like me. I’ve been through some tough times in my short 2 years. Just after I had my puppies, a human dumped me in a rural shelter. I had a severe infection from giving birth and I missed the chance to nurse my little ones. Now that I am in the care of loving humans and got the medical care I need, I am letting my personality shine!
I like other dogs, but I have trouble making friends with the more dominating ones. I am spayed, which means “very good girl.” (I hear that a lot!) I have received all my vaccinations, a heart-worm test, deworming medicine, and a microchip. When you adopt me, you also get 30 days of free health insurance for me. I MUST be a good girl! I really like long walks with humans - they’re so weird when they don’t stop to sniff all the amazing smells! I am quiet, calm, and am looking for a home where I can cuddle and nuzzle my fur-family.
I am auditioning adoptive families now. If you’d like to meet me, drop me a line at adopt@nokill-louisville.com or fill out the adoption form at https://www.nokill-louisville.org/adopt.htm.
