Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Tucker is 12 years old and has been our family pet since he was a puppy. He loves to be around people--very social! He also loves to eat, although we are careful not to feed him too much. Our vet is very happy because most older beagles are chubby beagles! Tucker sleeps a fair amount of the time because he's an older dog, but he's still spunky. He barks when someone comes to the door, but he never bites--he just sniffs! He also loves to patrol the back yard! Since we live in the country he's had a chance to get excited about squirrels, skunks, birds, and snakes--and he's quick to let us know about them.
Tucker needs a home where someone is home a lot of the time, or where there's another dog. He gets lonely when he's by himself. Best words to describe him are loyal, friendly, and curious!
