Here's what the humans have to say about me:
My name is Lady. I think the name suits me rather well. I am quite dainty and graceful looking, I’m polite and very well mannered. I am also loving and affectionate with humans - but not until I get properly acquainted, of course! I will protect my home and my loved ones when I need to by sounding the alarm and then leaving the rest to them.I’ve always lived with the same human until just recently. In the beginning, it was just the two of us and we had a lovely time together. I slept with her on the bed, I love that, and kept her company during the day. But, then new members began joining our family. It was ok but it wasn’t as peaceful as it had been with just the two of us. I learned to cope. Then another change happened and my human went to work everyday and I was alone - all day! I had never been alone all day and I have to admit I didn’t cope well with that change. I got quite depressed and anxious. I'm not young and it was a big adjustment for me. I felt so badly when I couldn't wait so many hours to go outside! It was very sad but my human decided I would be happier with people who are home more often and have time for me. I was upset at first but I think it was right. I live with such a nice human now who shares her days and nights with me. It is wonderful! She is my foster mom. I can't stay with her forever because she has places to go soon so we are wondering if anyone out there needs a good friend? I am a senior Lady now. I've still got plenty of spunk left tho and I love getting out and about - to get my exercise and keep my youthful figure! Walking is wonderful - we go out twice every day. And outings in the car are so enjoyable too. I am happy to meet new people and new dogs. Sometimes I get a bit bossy with the small ones! I just have to show them - I’ve still got it!!I have a bit of arthritis in one of my hips and a heart murmur now but I don’t have to take any meds. Like many other Chi’s at my age I have a little issue with my trachea too but if I wear a harness it doesn’t bother me - except, sometimes, after I drink water. Overall, I'm doing well for a Lady of advanced years. I'm happy to know that Chihuahua's and Whippets can live a long time! I’d like to meet a senior lady or gentleman who has some things in common with me. Someone who loves walking, riding in the car, being at home and snuggling on the couch - basically just being together in our later years.I am spayed and I’ve had a recent vet check up. If you’re looking for love and someone to share your life with, it could be me!
