Penny came to me through a family friend. She was free roaming (living in a barn) for the first few months of her life until I got the call to see if I could take her in. I’ve had her for almost 2 yrs. She’s housebroken (crated whenever I'm not home). She does at times do a nervous/excited piddle. She does it more with men for some reason. Unfortunately my living circumstances have changed and I can only keep 2 of my 3 rescues. I have a cat and a pitmix that Penny is good with. Penny does at time get nervous around new dogs (on walks mostly-- she will bark and I usually pick her up) but she does okay once she gets comfortable if other dog is very gentle and patient with her. I do think she'd do best being the only dog in the home. She loves walks and hiking! She never gets tired out or wants to be carried even though she is a little thing (15lbs). We estimate (and so does the vet) that she's about 2 1/2 yrs old. She’s a big snuggler, good with kids, and very fond of giving face kisses.
