Ke Aloha and his brother Zulu came foster care at 4 months old, afraid of humans. From their foster: It took me 8 weeks of hand feeding them earn their trust. I worked with them still hand feeding and sitting on the floor with them to get them to show me love. They would still not sit on my lap or seek love from me. I noticed they liked to stalk and hunt the littler kits in my house so I decided to let them out side to channel that hunting instinct. They turned into lap cats and leg rubbers now. They seek out my love and purr for me now. They like being indoor/outdoor cats and do best if they can come in and out. I don't leave them out at night. I have a 9 pm curfew for them, although in the hot summer they liked staying out all night if I let them. Zulu is the tuxedo, Ke Aloha is the other. Brothers who are very attached to each other."
