Duke is a 63lb, loving, goofball, who wants to be everybody’s friend. His name was Kai, but I renamed him Duke, (a/k/a; Dukey or Buddy). He is a 2yo, purebred rottweiler. Duke is a tripod due to a previous injury to his back knee that was irreparable. X-rays say that his hips are good.
Duke lives in a home with both cats and dogs. He is good with the cats (he just sniffs them and walks away) even if they scratch him. He is also very good with the other dog in the home.
Duke knows “Sit”, “Down”, “Shake”, and “Wait” (for his food). He will as also sit and wait to the command “Wait”, to be let indoors and outdoors. He needs practice walking on a leash.
Duke is an awesome dog, but due to an illness in the family my time with him has become more limited. This, I feel is making him somewhat depressed and feel that he would be happier in a home that has more time for him.
