My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Donnie Donut: 18 month old, chocolate and rust, neutered male, natural ears and docked tail. 12" tall and about 13 pounds. Shots up to date, owner surrender.

Perfect young dog alert! This boy has it all. Looks, temperament and personality. He still has that lanky teenager look but will fill out nicely. His coat is a gorgeous brown that reminds us of a Hershey's chocolate bar. His rust markings are truly rust, not tan as is more common. He has a wonderful personality - playful, inquisitive, loving and very sweet. His temperament is outstanding. He loves other dogs, kids and all people in general. We haven't cat tested him but I don't think he would be a problem with a friendly one. He is young and will need a firm but loving hand to guide him to full adulthood. This guy is such a joy to have around. Donnie Donut loves toys and playing with all his doggie brothers and sisters here at his foster home. He also loves to snuggle with his humans! He will sleep in a crate but he really doesn't like it. He much prefers sleeping with his humans, snuggled up next to them. Donnie Donut will do best in a home with another dog friend who likes to play and lots of chew toys. He loves rawhide twists (his favorites are the ones with chicken wrapped around them), cow hooves, bully sticks and (they are gross) dried chicken feet. He also enjoys the occasional bone but I limit those.

Note: Donnie Donut is located in Sacramento, CA. We will fly this boy in-cabin only with the adopter.
