Here's what the humans have to say about me:
This sweet puppies mom was picked up by Animal Control as a stray in rural Alabama. We are not sure what this mom has been through but she was terrified of people. She gave birth in the shelter waiting on someone to come and claim her. No one did. You could tell that no one has ever cared about this dog. The shelters here cannot hold onto nursing moms. They need the room for all the other dogs coming in daily. Thankfully, they reached out to NGL and our president went and got the sweet family. The pups are super friendly and social and their mom no longer trembles when she sees someone walking towards her. She allows us to pet her and will make someone an excellent pet one day.
COMPLETED APPLICATIONS TAKE PRECEDENCE OVER INQUIRIES! IF you are interested in adopting, the FIRST step is to complete an application! Please email for an Application or copy and paste the following URL:
Upon receipt of your application, the rescuer and foster in AL will contact you so you can ask any specific questions you may have! If there is more than one decision maker in the home, all of them should be in agreement!
Adoption Donation: Unless otherwise stated in the pet's bio, our standard adoption fee is $495 which covers age appropriate vaccines (DHPP vax) and (Rabies vax if 12 weeks and older), utd on flea/tick prevention and heartworm prevention, worming, heartworm test @ age 6 months or older, microchip, fostering costs and health certificate. Puppy will be adopted on a spay/neuter contract due to size. Within 6 months of adoption up to $100.00 will be refunded when paperwork is sent in showing puppy has been spayed or neutered.
Thank you for your understanding and consideration and for helping the dogs and puppies in need!
