My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Piper is a 9 month old-old spayed female yellow lab. Piper weighs 38 pounds and is up to date on shots. This dog is approved for homes with children ages 10 and up.

DESCRIPTION: Piper is possibly the sweetest little dog you'll ever meet. She is full of kisses for humans and other dogs, and loves to cuddle with both. She enjoys the company of other dogs the most and seems to take comfort in them and sleeps cuddled up to the resident pack - she always needs to be touching at least one of them. Piper is excellent with other dogs. She's not a crazy young pup, but certainly does occasionally find the need to do a couple of zoomies around the yard chasing the residents or random leaves that are blowing past her, and loves squeaky toys. She will try to de-stuff them if left to her own devices. Her tail wags SO fast when she plays with squeaky toys. Piper doesn't like to be alone so would appreciate humans home more than not and must at least have a break during the day. She is a very curious girl and goes wherever her nose leads her.

UPDATE: Piper is just chilling in her foster home, enjoying playing with the resident dogs, and extra foster puppy. She loves to wrestle and tackle other dogs. It's always a fun time outside when she's at the back of the yard chasing bugs, or sniffing a blade of grass and all of a sudden gets an overwhelming desire to zoom across the yard at top speed to tackle one of her canine friends. She's sweet and snuggly with them, and with foster mom. Her internal clock never skips a beat, and she knows what time we get up (and is kind enough to beat the alarm by about 2 minutes every day) and happily reminds me when it's time for her meds by covering me with kisses. She's loving life at her foster home, but can't wait to find those special humans who are hers to keep.

UPDATE: We had some fun with Piper and a new camera over the weekend. I always crack up watching this kid run. She runs FULL OUT. Ears flapping in the breeze, as fast as her little paws can carry her! She likes to race the resident dogs from the far back of the yard all the way to where I wait. Piper hasn't figured out why she's still looking for her forever home. This girl is so sweet and snuggly, with humans and other dogs. She wants you to know if you're afraid of adopting her because she has epilepsy, don't be. She LOVES taking her meds (seriously, she wants ALL the food) and the meds are controlling her seizures nicely. She's a joy to be with, and she'll keep you laughing and on your toes.
