Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Jerry came to us from the shelter so we don't know his background, but we are pretty sure he is a purebred GSD. Sadly, he hadn't been well cared for in the past, but he is flourishing now in his foster home. Coming from the shelter, he was emaciated, covered in sores, and had a broken spirit. He has since perked up, his body has healed, and his gorgeous coat is coming in well. He now has a great spirit and a beautiful smile!
He is crate and house trained, does well on the leash, and is not destructive inside or outside. If left alone inside, he just chills out laying around the house, and enjoys sleeping on his pet bed. He does well with other dogs and children, but has not been cat tested. He is currently working with a trainer at his foster home to learn commands.
Jerry loves chew bones, playing with soft toys, and also likes to play in the water! When it's not too hot outside, he enjoys running around in the yard. If you're looking for a new best fur friend, we hope you'll consider him! He would make a great walking partner or a good companion to hang out with around the house.
Due to his timid personality, he would likely do best in a quiet home as an only dog or with other dogs with a calm personality.
