Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Molly is 11 years old and we rescued her when she was a kitten. She had a special relationship with our yellow lab, Dusty. However, Dusty passed away some years ago. Molly likes our current lab, but our lab is younger than Dusty and can be too hyper at times for Molly's liking.
Molly needs a calm environment. She doesn't like loud sounds. Since we adopted our newborn, daughter in 2017, Molly has had issues with our baby crying. It stresses her out and because of that has developed behavioral issues with not going in the litter box. This is why we need to rehome her. We believe in the right environment she will pick up her normal potty routines of using the litter box.
She needs a quiet home with few pets and people. She is also long-haired and does not like to be brushed. Therefore, her hair tends to get very matted. We have solved this a few times by getting her shaved in the summer. If you can find a groomer who will do this, it will be very beneficial to her.
