My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet cool man Luke. He is about 18 months old and only 15 lbs. He is a little dog with a big personality. He’s a Chiweenie (Chihuahua/Dachshund mix ) who is so much fun. Luke does not shy away from a challenge nor does he shy away from someone's lap. He is proving to be a quick learner but sometimes he likes to do things his own way. He makes us all laugh with some of the things he does in training.

After just 2 weeks of training, he knows all his basic commands. His trainer will begin working on teaching him some fun tricks once his foot heals. Luke broke his nail while playing and he currently has it bandaged. Luke doesn't mind because it means more lap time for him.

Luke entered the NLOL program on July 10, 2019, and will be graduating sometime in September. All NLOL dogs are fully vetted, up to date on vaccines and spayed or neutered and micro-chipped. When they graduate from The Pamlico Correctional Institution, they will have 8 to 10 weeks of crate and housebreaking training along with basic obedience and agility training.
