My story

Loki is in need of a new home!

He has potential to be a great companion, but we have realized that we cannot provide him with the environment he needs to thrive. Loki was not properly socialized as a puppy by his first family and because of that, he needs extra attention. He has resource aggression and has gotten into several fights with our other dog over things like toys, bones, and random objects. We have begun to teach him "drop it," but he needs consistent reinforcement with this.

Loki is a sweet and intelligent dog. He is easy to walk on a leash and train new commands. He pays attention, loves to cuddle and play. He is motivated by food and praise. He is crate trained, housebroken, and knows basic commands (sit, down, stay, no, and come). All he really needs is his resource guarding managed and socialization.
