My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Welcome Bart. Bart is Bryan’s brother and Fenway’s son. He is about 11 weeks old. They were all picked up up as strays. Brian came in first and then his mom Fenway. Troy was called for the last one, a puppy. The kid threw it over the fence and slammed him on the concrete when he was giving him to Troy to take. He couldn’t walk this incident. We took him to the vet and he had a fractured pelvis. He has gotten crate rest, love and good nutrition. He is now walking as you can see in the video. He will put on weight in his bumm as he walks more and more. CCPAL is very proud of their efforts on this boy and they should be. This is a hard business and when you see the rewards of your work with the dog improving and lovely adoptions it is all worth it. We are looking for a home for Bart. He should be a 30 pound or less full grown. We are looking for older kiddos like 10 or more as we don’t ever want a child to hurt Bart. He is kind, loving and outgoing despite this incident. He is also good in a crate, wee pad trained, good with other dogs, cats and all people. He naturally loves women because his foster mom has been soo loving to him. He will need a patient home to keep at the short walks and play time in the yard till he full recovers. He is in Texas and can be adopted locally in Texas or we can transport to Washington, Oregon, Vermont, Wisconsin or all along the East Coast. His adoption fee is 200 and transport is 185.
