Chesney arrived at Horse Creek Wildlife on May 21, 2019.
Chesney is an extremely friendly fellow! He loves people and enjoys going on walks along our walking trail. He gets along great with other dogs and loves to play in our exercise areas.
Chesney is a handsome boy and we believe he is a Chesapeake Bay Retriever mix. He is still growing and currently weighs 30 pounds.
Chesney is patiently waiting for someone to fall in love with him and make him part of their family! Could that family be yours?
All of our dogs are spayed or neutered and current on all vaccinations. They receive monthly heartworm and flea/tick prevention. All of their medical needs are taken care of before they are available for adoption. Our adoption fee is $100.00. Please complete an application, if you have found a dog you are interested in adopting. You can find our application at www.horsecreekwildlife.org/applic.html. Once completed, you can forward it to adoptions@horsecreekwildlife.org or fax it to 731-926-3000. Kim Austin, our adoption facilitator, will be in contact with you as soon as she has an opportunity to review your application. Understand that she has other duties and she will not ignore any interest shown in adopting one of our dogs. An application will need to be approved before a scheduled time to visit our dogs will be set up. It may take up to 48 hours before she returns your call or responds to your email, due to work schedules, holidays and adoption events. We do the very best we can for the dogs we have rescued and do not take the adoption process lightly. Please be patient and understand that we will place our rescued dogs in the very best homes possible and reserve the right to refuse applications.
