My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Abbey is a spirited young 1 1/2 year old Australian Cattle dog mix. She weighs about 35 lbs and makes the most of every pound. She loves to hunt chipmunks and squirrels when given the chance. She is a very smart girl and listens well, especially once she has had a chance to burn off some energy. She can entertain you and herself with her antics--attacking the water spray from the hose, quietly tracking all the chipmunks outside the window, flipping her toys in the air and looking over her shoulder at you to see if you want to play too. Abbey likes kids but she may have hard time because she likes to jump up sometimes. Kids younger than three may get knocked over if they aren't prepared. We're working on that. Abbey is housebroken and does fine when left alone, but needs a good exercise session at least once a day. She would love to run with you or go to the dog park to play with her friends. Or else, let her go after the chipmunks!
