Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Alvar Bartholomew is a 2 or 3 year-old blonde hound mix who was rescued by LA-SPCA after being discovered on the side of the road in New Orleans East, neglected and scared. He is gentle, loving, somewhat timid, and playful. He is good with babies, children, small dogs, big dogs, puppies, kittens, and cats— everyone! He travels well and loves crates, balls, and plushies. In our many encounters with unfamiliar people and animals, he has never barked, growled, or shown the slightest hint of aggression. Alvar is a big fluffy sweetie pie to all. His ideal home would have a generous yard, be away from city noise, and have another playful dog.
