My story

Hi, I’m Alfie.  My 3 littermates and I were rescued from the street in Seal Beach when we were about 2 months old.  We were all very scared as we hadn’t been around people before.  At first, we were considered feral, but we were sent to a foster home and calmed down quite a bit. My foster home had other kittens, big cats, and dogs. I was fine with the cats and kittens but the dogs scared me.   After a while, I got comfortable enough to sleep with my foster Mom and also with her daughter. My foster Mom says that I have become very sweet but I still get scared easily. I sometimes allow pets but don't like to be picked up. I need a quiet forever home with another cat or kitten and a family who will have lots of patience and give me plenty of time to adjust to a new environment.
