Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Styx is a 7 year old male whippet/Italian greyhound mix. He weighs 24 lbs.
He was taken into rescue after being surrendered by his owner. He had severely infected wounds on his face but he’s responded well to treatment with prednisone and antibiotics. His wounds are healing and he’s slowly being weaned off the medications. We are hopeful that he will not have any flareups as the meds are reduced.
We think his skin issues are due to allergies so he needs to stay on a specific protein diet and treats that only contain duck.
Styx is quiet , gentle and affectionate. He is a joy to have around!
He is good with other dogs but will need a home without cats.
Styx is timid and scares easily so would do best in a quiet, calm home without young children.
Working on house-training.
Crate-trained.
Securely fenced yard required, no invisible fencing.
Requiring local, Cleveland area, adoption.
If you are interested in adopting Styx, please complete your adoption application here:
https://dogsunlimited.wufoo.com/forms/adoption-application-for-dogs-unlimited-rescue/
All Dogs Unlimited Rescue dogs are spayed/neutered, up-to-date on all shots, and are given a monthly flea/tick and heart worm prevention.
Upon adoption, all vet records and any current medications are provided to the adopter.
THE SUBMISSION OF YOUR APPLICATION DOES NOT GUARANTEE AN ADOPTION NOR DOES IT OBLIGATE YOU TO ADOPT. Multiple applications are accepted for any available pet and a home is chosen that is the best match between the available pet and the potential furever family. Your application will be processed as quickly as possible and if approved, a home visit would be scheduled. No adoption is final until an Adoption Agreement is presented and agreed to by both parties.
Our goal is to find the right match of our dogs to their new family so all involved are furever happy! Questions: email gina@dogsunlimitedrescue.org
And THANK YOU for considering a rescue dog for your family!
