Hello new friends! My name is Gemma! The wonderful people at HBR waited patiently for my stray hold to be up at animal control, and they busted me out of there the minute it was up! They tell me that I am young and petite. I really needed some attention as I was living on the streets. My foster mom tells me I "need groceries", and if that means food then I am all in. I now weigh 45lbs thanks for my foster family, and in other BIG news... I am HW negative! That must be a good thing because my foster family was really excited for me! I am being introduced slowly to my foster pack, and I am just fine in my kennel most of the day. I am crate trained, and gentle on the leash for my walks! I haven't paid much attention to my foster fur siblings yet, but foster mom says that is just fine. I love car rides and behave myself in the back or up front with my foster Momma. I can even get myself in the car when asked! The nurses at the vets office said I must be special because I have two different colored eyes! I am sweet, gentle and pretty quiet so far!
I hope that I find my forever home as soon as I am healthy! I can see the light!
