Dawn (who knows the name Lucy) is a sweet girl. She was adopted back in 2016, but her owner could no longer care for her due to divorce and change of job. While in the home, she became very attached to the children and would not leave their side. She was accustomed to being groomed and having her nails trimmed. She loves to be wherever the people are and would prefer a home where she is not alone too often. She really wants a home where she can be an indoor dog, but with outdoor playtime. She is scared of big dogs but loves small dogs and is very protective of them. She can easily climb a chain link fence and knows how to wiggle her way off a cable, so a privacy fence or supervised outdoor time is needed. D.O.B 2-11-11 Weight 47 lbs...All pets have lifetime sanctuary at Haven of the Ozarks. If they cannot remain with their adopter, they must be returned to the Haven.
Adoption fees are as follows: Puppies under the age of 6 months - $150 Dogs weighing 30 pounds and less - $200 Dogs over 6 months old- $90 Cats under the age of 6 months old - $75 Cats over the age of 6 months old - $65

More about this shelter
We are a no-kill sanctuary for stray and abandoned dogs and cats, and for those left homeless by the death of their guardian. We provide an environment as homelike as possible with lots of loving care to our furry residents. It may take days or years, but we will always keep trying for all of the animals in our care. Volunteers and donations are always needed and welcome!
