Here's what the humans have to say about me:
I adopted Skechert about a year and a half ago. He was very nervous at first, to the point where he would just sit in the corner and shake around new people. However, he never barked, bit, or showed any signs of aggression. It was clear to me that he must have been previously abused, probably by a man. He has always been more open to meeting new girls, rather than men.
I have an 8 year old daughter, and he does AMAZING. He doesn't bark, except when a "stranger" will come over the house, he'll give that one weak "bark", and I'll just tel him to settle down. He listens really well. Knows: Sit, Shake, Lay Down, Come Here, Stay.
He doesn't chew on anything, other than small stuffed animals that he mistakes for store bought chew toys. However, he doesn't play fetch, but will chase after a ball if you throw it....just not catch it or bring it back.
This is an amazing dog, seriously my best friend. However I am moving with the military. You'll love him, and he'll love you!
