NEWMAN is the sweetest, cuddliest and hunk of a dog there is! This charming Casanova makes all who meet him fall in love by showering them with kisses and rolling over for belly rubs. NEWMAN is house trained, crate trained, fabulous in the car, and wonderful with other animals! He shares his foster home with other dogs and a kitty and made fast friends with everyone! He also adores the 10 year old human boy in in foster family.
NEWMAN melts your heart with his soulful eyes and keeps a smile on your face with his joy for life. He enjoys napping on the couch, sunning or romping in the yard, and snuggling with his foster family. He also has a blast playing with toys and doesn't discriminate between dog and cat toys (be sure to check out the video of him playing with the laser pointer in his dropbox link).
No matter what he is doing NEWMAN is happy. NEWMAN loves to go for car rides and is ready to go on any adventure you have in mind. NEWMAN will be a fantastic, loyal companion for his lucky forever family.

NEWMAN is neutered, microchipped, and up to date on all vaccinations including 2 rounds of both the H3N2 and H3N8 canine influenza vaccinations.
His $490 adoption fee includes his interstate health certificate and the cost of transport to the Midwest after he is officially adopted.

All of our dogs start their journey in Memphis, Tennessee where they remain in loving foster families until they are adopted. Once adopted, some pups stay local in Memphis. Many others travel via one of our transport partners to their new forever homes. We use Alpha Dog Pet Transport for our Nashville, Knoxville and some New England adoptions (https://alphadogtransport.com). We also use Pet Express Tupelo (https://petexpresstupelo.wordpress.com/). For our Midwest adopters, we have our own private transport (https://www.facebook.com/roadhomepettransport).
Breed selection is done in conjunction with two local vets and is not to be considered a guarantee but rather a well-educated decision from well qualified staff.
Due to the extremely high volume of inquiries we receive, we ask that you request, complete, and submit an application before asking additional questions. We try very hard to include all pertinent information in our bios. We are excited to help you find your new family member. However, Woof River is 100% volunteer operated. We want to spend our time saving dogs and assisting those adopters who have taken the time to complete an application. Thank you for understanding.
