My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Reese is a sweet red Kelpie rescued from an Amarillo shelter. He was owner relinquished and kept outside all the time. He is approximately 6-8 years old and is getting use to life on the outside of the shelter in a loving home. He is a timid little guy but he gets along well with his foster sisters. They have taught him how to use the doggie door and that the couch is the preferred lounging location. He has not been in rescue very long but he is really starting to show his personality. Reese is laid back and typically pretty quiet. He has started to vocalize when he wants something and his bark is the cutest. Reese would be happy with a forever home that can love him and show him how to trust. He has shown some fear of stairs and basements but is quickly overcoming fears. Reese is neutered and up to date on his shots. He does well on a leash and enjoys the dog park . He is just sweet, wants petted and loved and a low-key dude. There is no doubt he will be an absolute great addition to almost any home. He lived with kids previously but we don’t have any firsthand knowledge how he does with kids or cats, yet. Reese is located in Denver with our Colorado chapter.
