Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Merlin - Westie Mix - Male - 10 years - www.twyla.org
If you'd like to know more about this dog please visit our website at www.Twyla.org
This is our super cute, little guy Merlin. He is who-knows-how-old but probably at least 10 (70 plus in dog years). Merlin was found alone in the middle of the street one day, looking like he had been on his own for a bit. He doesn’t ask for much, except treats of course, and is just looking for a soft place to land for his final few years. Merlin is pretty much deaf but can hear a little and has just one tooth left so he eats soft food. Merlin does seem to have allergies and is currently on allergy medication. Merlin likes to sleep in and is usually the last one up in the mornings.
His foster family just love this little guy but have too many to be able to keep him. Merlin is looking for a home with or without another dog, while he's not a cuddler and won't come sit with you on the sofa, he likes to be near his humans. He doesn't require much exercise, just a leisurely stroll occationally.
***Please note: All dogs are fostered in private homes of volunteers, so to meet a dog please fill out an Adoption Application on our website (http://www.twyla.org/adopt/our-adoption-process) so we may setup a private meetup with the dog or coordinate for an Introduction at the next general Adoption Meet and Greet (as listed on our website: (http://www.twyla.org/upcoming-events), as not all dogs attend all Meet and Greets***
