My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Sweet Scout is an approximately 1-2yrs. old Collie mix. He was at a high kill shelter since July 5th and was on the 'red' list - this is the kill list. No other reason he was listed on this kill list other than just been at the shelter too long and too many dogs being dumped - so sad. However, Scout now has a new lease on life and there's no looking back now! Scout is newer to rescue so we are still learning about him. We do know he is a sweet boy that is looking for his family or person to call his own. Scout is AMAZING with kids... he either came from a past situation where there were kids or he's just a natural at it. He is also very good with other dogs and is more on the submissive side which is a good thing. Scout is a good size for any type of home, however, he will need regular walks and playtime as all dogs do. Scout does settle down nicely and loves to lay with his doggie buddies and human kid buddy to nap. We will post more pictures and info as we get to learn more about Scout.
