Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Avery is a gentle and friendly old girl (about 9 years) but very timid at first to new people, especially men. She can be grouchy around young pups, but she will adjust with time. She prefers to be the only dog of the house and is much happier and playful when so. She doesn’t care for cats as she tends to ignore them unless they bother her. She is not good with young children, which is why she needs a new home. Avery would be happy with an older person or couple or a new couple just starting out with no children. She’s looking to relax in her last few years in a quiet home. She’s very obedient and responds well when called. She’s house trained but not crate or kennel trained. She won’t mess in the house as long as she’s given a reasonable amount of potty breaks throughout the day. She is originally rescued from Tampa, FL but now resides in south central PA and LOVES the outdoors.
