We have a Great Pyrenees mix (50% GP, 25% Akbash and 25% Anatolian) that we are trying to find a new home for. He is 2 yrs old and approximately 145 lbs. He is crate trained. He is large and beautiful.
We are looking for new home for him because he is too large and dominant for a household with elderly persons who routinely have small children they care for. The pup is just too big and has sometimes caused injuries to children just from running into them. That is why I checked that he is not good with kids. Also, he has food envy issues which have led to a couple of scary moments when other dogs were around him and there was food.
We did have a cat that he never bothered, but they also kept their distance from he other, so he really hasn't had too much exposure to cats.
Please let me know if you have any questions.
