Here's what the humans have to say about me:
We adopted Allie about 3 years ago from a shelter. She is a wonderful, loving dog who lives to have 1 on 1 attention. When we got her we realized that she had issues with resource guarding and would sometimes get aggressive with our other dog. This behavior is sporadic and through training (she is an akc canine good citizen) had gotten the frequency of incidents down significantly.
Now that we have a baby in the house and we have had to put up baby gates this change has brought the resource guarding behavior has come back. She is still a loving caring dog that wants nothing more than love but would do better in a house where she is the only dog and there are no small children. There has never been an incident where she has been aggressive towards a human she only resource guards against other dogs.
We are looking for someone who can give her the attention and care that she needs. She is fully house and crate trained and would make a great dog for someone.
