My story

Me and an ex-boyfriend adopted Button from a shelter 3 years ago. He was 1 at the time, so he's approximately 4 years old. I have never been a pet person, but even I can tell that Button is a special cat. He's probably the most affectionate and friendly cat I've ever met. He loves belly rubs, likes to cuddle, and generally just wants to hang out with you no matter what you're doing. At one point, one of our routines included him following me into the bathroom and jumping up on the sink to hang out with me while I was brushing my teeth. Button is also incredibly gentle - I'm generally very wary of animals, but I trust him completely and I feel comfortable picking him up/petting him anywhere. I am looking for someone who can give Button the time and attention he needs - he's a very social cat and gets lonely when I'm not home. An ideal match would be a home with people who worked regular hours, or worked from home frequently.
