My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Nala came to us after her owner passed away. She is one of 3 purebred Australian Cattle Dogs he had, along with Lola and Apache. Nala is around 4 years old.

Nala loves her humans, and wants a lot of attention and affection. If she's near you, she wants to sit in your lap and have her ears rubbed. She's very smart and a fast learner. Nala walks excellently on a leash, and picked it up quickly after just a short training period. She is crate trained, and knows "sit." We're working on "stay" as she doesn't want to leave your side! :) She has been introduced to cats in her foster home, and has done alright with supervision, but she does appear to have a little bit of fear aggression when a cat gets right up in her face.

She has not previously been socialized with other dogs outside of her own 'pack,' so be aware that if you have other dogs, she would need a slow introduction and an owner experienced in making these kinds of transitions work. She has definitely made some positive headway with the dogs in her foster home, but would also be happy as either your only dog, or adopted with Lola or Apache!

Nala is already spayed, vaccinated, flea & tick treated, and dewormed. Her adoption fee is $100. Please contact us for an application!
